Paid Lunch Break Guaranteed in the Collective Agreement
The collective agreement makes it clear that you as an employee must be available in your lunch break and that the paid lunch break is included in your daily working hours.
Please note that you will keep the right to paid lunch break even if the school’s management increases the break to last more than 30 minutes, and even if the school states that you do not have to be available.
