On May 23 at noon, a membership ballot will be held for the members of the Teachers' Union for Danish Independent Schools concerning the collective agreement that was signed by the negotiators in the state sector on Saturday April 28. The deadline for calling your vote will be on June 3 at noon. When all the members in all the unions have voted, we will know whether or not we have a collective agreement.

As a member of the Teachers' Union for Danish Independent Schools, you will vote together with the other teachers’ unions in the state sector. For instance, members of the Union for Education (“Uddannelsesforbundet”), teacher members in the Red Cross schools, the union for independent vocational schools (“de frie fagskoler”), the Danish Private School Association (“Danmarks Private Skoler - grundskoler og gymnasier”), etc. The votes will go into one big pool, but we will know the results for each individual union.

When the unions in the state sector have called their votes, the Teachers’ Central Organization will – based on a political evaluation of the result – inform the other party whether or not the collective agreement has been accepted or rejected.

The unions must hand in their ballot results to the Teachers’ Central Organization no later than on June 3. No later than on June 6, it will be made public whether or not the collective agreement has been accepted or rejected.
